I will share here his answers to my questions here if anyone shows any interest in this post. I also asked if this service is available for other Odyssey head shapes, and other brands of putters, as well. When all other new golf products are about the latest and greatest advancements, why would Odyssey choose to go backward Essentially, many of you are at fault, along with about 50 percent of the Odyssey tour players. I have a question to them asking them more details of the service- whether it's on me to install or I send the putter to them. With the new Odyssey White Hot OG putters, Odyssey has implemented a double-decade dialing back of their face technology. I have asked the seller about the details of the item, but I just didn't want to wait for his answer to come here and see if anyone is familiar with this and what they thought. If I could exchange the inserts in any of the Odyssey head shapes of the past with a nice feeling, milled copper insert, for less than $100, it could really open up a lot of options for me to consider. I really don't know if this is a service where you send the putter to them, they replace the face insert, and ship back to you, or if they simply ship you a new milled insert. I do understand that it is possible to have a face insert replaced with a different style by some outlets, but I've never seen it offered at this price on eBay (which also makes the price a red flag, in my mind- $40 is a great price plus shipping there and back, if that's the deal). Then I come upon this ad- Never seen this offered, and not certain exactly what it entails beyond buying the new face insert. This fact is really limiting my considerations- I'm down to about White Hot Pro, Metal-X Milled, Versa (kinda- I'm very lukewarm on the Versa). except the Metal-X- blah!) any of the face inserts Odyssey has used in the past. I've always been partial to milled faced putters, and never really loved (but didn't hate many. I'm currently debating between a Odyssey Works #1W or #7, and have been doing a litting eBaying to figure out which head is cheapest/ most readily available on eBay so I can buy the more hard to find one new, and seek out the other head on eBay in another, older model. I'm actively seeking out unnecessary ways to spend money on eBay while I'm sitting around watching sports on tv. He has been obsessed with the sport since the age of 8 and currently plays at West Byfleet Golf Club in Surrey, where his handicap index floats anywhere between 2-5.So, this winter boredom is killing me with the crap we've been getting here in Ohio.
